Carbon Black (CB) has been used as both a reinforcing agent and filler in the rubber industry. The uses of carbon black also includes pigmentation, ultraviolet (UV) stabilization and conductive agents in the plastics industry. Along with better understanding of CB’s unique properties as a material, it is presently used in a much wider range of applications across a large variety of products – car tires, conveyor belts, inks, plastic pipes, septic tanks, rubber mats, shoe soles and so forth.

We at ECO POWER is also a local manufacturer of carbon black which complies with the ASTM standard approved by Committee D36. We are currently engaged in a collaboration with ASTM international to further study and enhance understanding on the values and properties of our carbon black.
